Wow, i have been uber busy! im so sorry i havent been able to blog, but heres a recap of what has gone on since thanksgiving! Well on Saturday the 24th; The Waseca team had our CMN fundraiser and wow it was FUN! On the same day we had our photoshoot! we got our hair and makeup done by classic cuts in Waseca! they made me look beautiful! they were so nice and kind too us! they were one of our sponsors for this years pageant, and we couldnt have been more thankfull! On December second, my cheer team hosted the 3rd annual Santas Cheer Shop Competition in Prior Lake! (: it was a blast!!! So many fun and amazing young woman came to cheer their hearts out for their team! we had many AMAZING and wonderful volenteers that helped make this competion the best! unfortunatly we are not able to compete at our own competion as a team, but one of our single stunt groups was able to compete in the stunt portion and got 2nd place! way to go girls! <3 then on Friday the 7th of December my team was honored by an invite to perform at the pregame show at the Timberwolves game! we didnt perform the best because we had MANY injuries on the team but it was still an exciting, adreneline pumping memory! i was also surprised by Emily Kallis, the new Miss Coon Rapids 2013, and her new "little sister" Miss Coon Rapids Outstandinng Teen 2013 Kathryn Kuempers! thank you girls so much for coming! The next morning, on Saturday we had a wrestling tournament that we were able to cheer at! Our team dominated, including one of our Seniors- Tanner Johnshoy that got his 100TH WIN!!! wow what an amazing team! Later that night we had our annual Cheer holiday party! It was such a fun filled night and im so glad to call these girls my family! and the last thing- My Holiday choir concert! (: it was so fun! we sang such awesome and crazy songs! we even got to sing a remix of deck the halls! and then on Wednesday the 5th graders came and joined us at school and we redid the holiday concert for them! i got to see all of my old teachers, and it was weird seeing them not changing a bit but them seeing me change so much! i also saw alot of my karate students- and they had fun making funny faces at me while i was on stage! (: tomorrow night Bailey Wachholz and Pam Wachholz are coming over and staying for the weekend! (: im so excited to see them! they also get to meet my new boyfriend- Gavin! I cant wait for this fun-filled weekend with Bailey! and of course the ugly sweater party at Tiffany's house (my sister queen- Miss South Central 2012) (: I promise i'll post another blog soon! Actually theres one last thing! haha(: On Sunday the 16th of December my cheer team is hosting a pancake breakfast to fundraise for Nationals that we compete at this February!The pancake breakfast will be held at the American Legion in Savage, MN from 8:00 to noon. the cost of a ticket is $7.00 and children under 3 eat free! if you could come that would be GREAT! love you all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Miss Coon Rapids scholarship pageant 2013

Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend the miss Coon Rapids scholarship pageant 2013! The pageant was not only fun but absolutely amazing!
Samantha Phillipi have up her crown on Saturday night! She was an amazing young woman and I'm proud to call her one of my greatest friends!
The new miss Coon Rapids 2013 is.. Emily Kallis! Congratulations Emily you will do amazing have fun, And take pictures!!(:
The Miss Coon Rapids scholarship organization also crowd another young woman- Kathryn Kueppers- As their Miss Coon Rapids Outstanding Teen 2013!(: Before this pageant I've had the opportunity to meet Kathryn, And wow, all I have to say is- OUTSTANDING!(: Welcome to the world of pageantry! Can't wait to see these girls in action! Love you both and again- congratulations!

Thanksgiving

Today is "gobble gobble day" in my family also known as turkey day or Thanksgiving! Today is a very special day to not only me but to many many others as well!
It's a tradition on Thanksgiving to make a list of the things you are thankful for.. So, here are some of the things that I am thankful for!
I'm thankful for the amazing friends and family, the amazing pageant sisters that will always have a place in my heart, I'm thankful for the opportunities that pageants have given me! Corrina Marie's introduction

Hello everyone! I had a blog on weebly, but it didn't work out too well so now I'm switching to this blog website! Let me introduce myself- I'm Corrina Marie Swiggum I'm 15 years old and I'm a sophomore at Prior Lake Senior Highschool! At my school I'm involved in SADD(students against destructive decisions), the varsity football/wrestling/basketball/competition cheer team! I'm a second degree blackbelt in karate, which I've been training in for 10 years! I'm also a singer, mainly of country music! On August 25th I was crowned the first ever- Miss South Central's outstanding Teen 2012! It has been an absolute blast so far!!!
